This thing took almost 2 hours to put together, maybe it would've been faster with power tools which the instructions said not to use.
After I put it together and tested it out, I found out that the lock is basically worthless. If attempted to pull the drawer out with a little bit of strength, the lock out with the drawer. Also, the bottom drawer never slid in and out right. Something about the factory missing a part of the rail - or not gluing it straight.
It was imperative to me that this drawer could lock and be semi secure. That definitely was not the case. If you're buying this for security - I would strongly advise against it.
If you're buying this because you need an affordable file cabinet that may not be perfect, but serves your file holding needs, then go for it. All of these factory built furniture pieces always have issues where the holes don't line up, etc. But that is also why they're affordable.
So in a nutshell:
Pros: Affordable, holds files, looks nice
Cons: Not secure, not super easy to put together but also not rocket science, drawers might not slide easily due to factory mess ups.

Very impressed with the quality and look of this file cabinet. Looks like it was a whole lot more expensive than it was. Works perfectly next to my computer desk.

First and foremost super fast shipping from Office Depot .The cabinet a breeze to assemble very sturdy once completed and a real looker, the packing was superior to other furniture items I have purchased from others, Highly recommended.
